Family business. The first microcement in Serbia.

Ardes, formerly AB Concept, is a family business from Belgrade. The craft began in the 1990s, in a small cement screed workshop. Today we install mineral and resin floors and walls in flats, houses, offices and boutiques.

We installed the first microcement floor in Serbia and the region in 2014, the year the company under its current name was founded. Some of our social media profiles still carry the old name, but behind them are the same people and the same craft. We work with architects and interior designers, and directly with property owners. We have no ready-made packages. Every surface starts with getting to know the materials and samples in our showroom.

Material philosophy

We only do work that lasts

We choose systems with a proven lifespan: mineral ones that breathe, and resin ones for spaces under heavy loads. No finishing effects that quickly fade.

Proven

Cement, lime, clay, natural stone, and resins for floors under heavy loads. Materials whose ageing is well known.

By hand

Every layer is applied by a craftsman with a trowel. The trowel marks stay visible, and they are part of the material.

Certified

We are certified installers and distributors of the systems we use, trained at academies in Europe and America.

History

From screed to microcement

Training at academies in Europe and America, and manufacturer certificates for the systems we install.

  • 1990sA small sole-trader business laying cement screed. The craft the company still stands on today.
  • 2014We install the first microcement-based floor in Serbia and the region, as certified installers and distributors of the system.
  • 2024Projects published, from 600 m² at the Nordeus headquarters to family houses and boutiques, in collaboration with leading architecture studios.
  • TodayThe company operates under the name Ardes. Six decorative surface systems and the sale of Boen parquet. New name, same craft.
