The brief was to renovate a 1926 flat in the city centre that had been converted into an architecture studio. Ardes carried out the floor work, installing a microcement floor throughout the space.

The result is a clean, modern space with oversized elements and pieces of furniture, softened by neutral walls of natural clay and accented with black details. A pair of large pivoting mirrors both connects and separates the entrance, the workspace and the conference room. The smooth microcement surface reflects light and lets this play of reflections come through.

The space sits somewhere between a studio, a contemporary office and a gallery. It is arranged to look almost like a gallery, leaving room for the projects and objects that will fill it over time.
